Me and my colleague can't help laughing on the f**king iguanas. And, "his soul is still dancing." For different reasons.
I on...I like 'em both. For different reasons.

I once vehemently suggested, and without being snarky or ironic, Ferrara's Bad Lt. as part of an ex-boss's youth ministry film showing for his religious group. I still think it's one of the best films about the conversion exprience ever made and deeply religious(scriptural/spiritual/moral) at its core. Of course, they didn't agree. And they went with Michael Tolkin's even more fucked-up The Rapture instead. Both are invaluable to me.Noel Verahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05904212081036547668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31058461.post-47015207448791434462010-02-06T09:00:00.850+08:002010-02-06T09:00:00.850+08:00I read that it was never intended to be titled Bad...I read that it was never intended to be titled Bad Lieutenant, but the producers decided to do so to bank on Ferrara's film, much to Ferrara's disdain. I think I like this more. It's a lot of fun. I didn't feel like I needed to take a shower after the movie.Oggs Cruzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03041599863258946384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31058461.post-9850195703731841392010-02-06T08:34:10.997+08:002010-02-06T08:34:10.997+08:00It's a fun movie, you're right on the dot ...It's a fun movie, you're right on the dot about it being a comedy, a kind of Herzog version (subversion?) of Ferrara's masterpiece. I was going to say this is the first time I've ever seen Herzog show any kind of sensuality, but I forgot all about Nosferatu.Noel Verahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05904212081036547668noreply@blogger.com
